What is PSARA License?

• If any person wants to start a security agency business in India, then that person need to get a PSARA License under The Private Security Agencies Regulation Act (PSARA), 2005.
• PSARA stands for Private Security Agencies Regulation Act.
• PSARA Act regulates operations related to the private security agency business.
• PSARA Act establishes a certain standard of professionalism in the field of security services.

Documents Required to get PSARA license:

• PAN Card & Aadhar Card of Owner/Directors/Partners
• Two passport size photos of Owner/Directors/Partners
• GSTN (if Available)
• PF & ESI Registration Certificate (If Available)
• Shop & Establishment License (If Available)
• Proof of identity of Manager/employees
• Office Address Proof
• Affidavit as under Section 7 (2) of PSARA, 2005
• Security training affidavit
• Certificate of Incorporation
• Signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the training institute
• ITR of Directors/Owner
